Marketing
Capicua and inPowered AI partnered up to design and build a unified Content Intelligence and Content Distribution platform for marketers to drive real ROI.
Context
InPowered, founded by Peyman and Pirouz Nilforoush, revolutionized content marketing by focusing on delivering genuinely useful content instead of relying on traditional banner ads. This approach led to the company's recognition as one of America's fastest-growing companies by Inc. 5000 in 2020.
The AI-based platform transforms consumer engagement by creating personalized content journeys that enhance brand perception and maximize ROI. InPowered has been recognized by the Content Marketing Institute and Digiday Tech as a pioneer in the shift from interruptive advertising to value-driven content experiences.
Problem
As inPowered's platform matured, the company faced a structural challenge: campaign management was entirely in the hands of inPowered's agents, leaving clients with no direct access to or control over the platform. This workflow created a service bottleneck and limited the scalability of the business model.
The platform also lacked a unified view connecting its Content Intelligence (CI) and Content Distribution (CD) capabilities. Marketers needed a single, coherent environment where they could analyze campaign performance, discover content opportunities, and create and manage new campaigns without switching between disconnected tools.
The UX challenge was also considerable: the platform needed to accommodate both inPowered's internal agents and external client users with different permissions and workflows, all while maintaining the clean, professional aesthetic that the brand required.
Solution
Capicua collaborated with inPowered on product design across multiple areas. We developed the platform's UX and UI in Figma, creating wireframes and prototypes that reflect inPowered's values. A key feature in this process was the development of a user management section with client accounts for a scalable, multi-tenant product platform.
We also unified the Content Intelligence and Content Distribution sections, enabling marketers to access campaign metrics, explore content ideas, and manage distribution campaigns within a single interface powered by AI.
- Wireframing: Full UX/UI design in Figma with detailed wireframes and prototypes
- Management: User management system enabling client account creation and access
- Interfaces: Unified Content Intelligence and Content Distribution interface
- Dashboards: Campaign metrics dashboard with AI-powered content insights
Success
The introduction of client-facing user management transformed inPowered's business model, allowing marketing teams to operate the platform directly and eliminating the need for agent-mediated campaign management, and paving the way for scalable growth.
The unified CI/CD interface improved marketers' workflows, enabling them to move from insight to execution within a single product and to leverage actionable AI recommendations. This strengthened the connection between content strategy and campaign performance.
inPowered's recognition as one of America's fastest-growing companies highlighted its ability to deliver real ROI, with the product experience designed by Capicua making that value accessible to more users.
- System: Client-facing platform with a new user management system.
- Coherence: Unified Content Intelligence and Content Distribution in one interface
